Cuando era un niño, Murakami se enamora de una chica que llamó Kuroneko. Ella insistió en saber acerca de los extraterrestres y de haberlos conocido, pero nadie le creyó, aún el joven Murakami se mostró escéptico. Un día, decide mostrarle a los extraterrestres, pero se produce un accidente y Kuroneko muere mientras Murakami queda gravemente herido en el hospital.
