(UPDATED)We unfortunately are not having this event this year but please join us in March 2024 for our annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.-Holiday Tea & Japan Culture Day. Join us for our annual holiday celebration! This year, we will have 3 tea ceremonies, martial arts demonstrations, music and a sale of Japanese cultural arts, such as kimono and dolls. We will be selling Japanese sweets from Fugetsu-Do, so don’t forget to bring your picnic for a family-fun day in the Friendship Garden!Tea Ceremonies Rquire Reservations (Check Website)Join us to experience a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, known as Chanoyu or Chado. Practiced in the Urasenke School of Tea style, you will get to experience the ceremony, learn about its meaning and history, and enjoy a bowl of matcha tea and a traditional sweet treat.RSVP to the Tea Ceremonies! Seating is limited with social distancing and masks inside the Teahouse required.
