Elite Dangerous: Odyssey launches as a true alpha, will expand over several weeks - Polygon

The PC alpha for Elite Dangerous: Odyssey kicks off Monday, and will eventually let players set foot on new worlds for the first time. But the roll-out will be quite limited at first, as lots of testing needs to take place before the upgrade goes live in the late spring.
